How It All Started

During my career at FranklinCovey, where I achieved $35M in sales and drove culture change, I built the Counterfeit Life at full speed — and then decoded exactly what it was costing me.

This led me to a deep understanding of the fragility between business success and personal well-being.

As a leader, business coach, and consultant, I've studied the brain, our nervous system, and the Bible, and have come to understand the powerful forces largely below the level of consciousness that drive our choices. I like to look at things from all angles. I bring what's running below the surface into the light so leaders can make decisions from truth, not fear.

We are not machines here to produce; we are beautiful humans here to make a difference for one another.

I developed VRI—Value, Relevance, and Impact—a framework for taking your True Life to work.

Business is a relationship, so to kick off ours, here’s what you’d learn about me over coffee.

My career journey has been anything but linear — from bartending to advising CEOs, from an early stop at cosmetology school to flying on a private jet for a speaking tour with Dr. Stephen R. Covey, add corporate sales, and staffing warehouses and factories.

I've stepped up to lead in each situation — teams, acquisitions, new offices, and a start-up company. Every one of those experiences became a breadcrumb that led me here.

I have a TEDx talk from 2011, "ADHD as our Innovators." Raising a child with ADHD sparked my fascination with the brain, the power of our uniqueness, and the need for connection and belonging.

I even got a college degree to check the box, though it didn't add much more value than my diverse experiences (but it was definitely more expensive).
